How It Started
As a Jersey Girl growing up in the 1980’s, tanning = life! In my teens and twenties, my friends and I would spend every sunny day laying by the pool, slathered in baby oil + iodine with the tanning salon on speed dial for days that it rained. We couldn’t get dark enough and missing a day wasn’t an option.
As I got older my pace slowed but my commitment continued until the day I woke up and noticed sun damage on my face and chest. It was as if it happened overnight. That’s the moment I began looking for tanning alternatives.
I tried spray booths, and always left an orange, streaky mess (ahem Ross from Friends! (www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc1C0I6x3lI). And the spray tans from the tanning salons were just as bad. I spent hundreds of dollars on at-home tanning products being sold on shopping channels + late-night infomercials, but nothing was ever good enough. For years I kept saying, ‘I know I can do this better’—and so, in 2016, I did!
Over the years, I’ve become a Master Spray Tan Artist, trainer, and educator. I added teeth whitening services and built a small team of exceptional Tanning Artists who I consider family. We’ve tanned for NY Fashion and Swim Weeks, NJ Housewives, actors, and models—but our favorite tans are the ones we do for YOU. Nobody is more passionate about spray tanning than we are and there’s nothing that brings me more joy than spraying on a confidence boost and transforming how you view yourself.

We’re not just about bronzing—we’re about empowerment. Our artists are sculptors of confidence + your personal cheer squad all rolled into one! Diane Owner
Master Spray Tan Artist, Trainer + Educator
Diane started Bronze Age almost 10 years ago because what existed simply wasn’t good enough. What began as a side gig has grown into something far greater than she ever imagined. Looking back, she says that if she had known how significantly this business would impact her life, she would have started straight out of high school. Today, she can’t wait for you to experience one of Bronze Age’s 5-star services.
Outside of work, Diane is a wife and devoted dog mom to Rigatoni and Alfredo. When she’s not tanning clients, you’ll find her sneaking away for a long weekend with her girlfriends or making time to unwind by her pool.
Alyssa
Master Spray Tan Artist
Before becoming a Super Mom, Alyssa worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and part-time spray tan tech. She has a unique way of making you feel instantly comfortable, like you’ve been best friends for years.

As a wife and mother of three adorable boys, she’s a favorite among our moms and moms-to-be. She often stays late chatting with customers about the challenges and rewards of parenting. Alyssa is a Rook Coffee devotee, taco lover, and enjoys making memories at the beach with her family.
Helen
Master Spray Tan Artist
Helen is a New Jersey native and realtor with Keller Williams Realty. She started as a Bronze Age customer before becoming a rock star tanning artist and our resident comedian. When she inquired about training three years ago, I jumped at the chance because I knew she was perfect for the Bronze Age family.
Sweet, funny, and a crazy dog lover (which is non-negotiable here!), Helen lives by the motto “If you can’t tone it, tan it!” Her favorite thing about spray tanning is seeing how confident her customers are after their service. When she’s not selling houses or beautifying her amazing customers, she’s spending time with her favorite guy, Oliver, taking improv classes, or volunteering with dog rescues.
